Good morning Fellow Woodturners,
I was 57 years old when starting woodturning and woodworking for the first time in my life, and that was just a year ago. I work as a Regional Manager for the railroad and travel extensively, so I don't get nearly enough time in front of the lathe, but in spite of the minimal time I get, I am turning pens, bowls, and fly rod reel seats which actually look pretty good. As a matter of fact, I have a lot of people asking me to do pens for them, but it certainly not going to replace my current income! *LOL*
Anyway, I was shocked and extremely surprised to hear about the Glacier Woodturners club, and I was determined to find you and get involved. Imagine my surprise when I walked into the mall Saturday afternoon and found you all! I can't wait for the next meeting, and if I don't get transfered to Fort Worth, TX between now and the meeting, I'll definitely be there!
Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to join the forum, and I really look forward learning more and more about woodturning!
